Cornell is the country's leading veterinary university. It offers consulting veterinarians who can answer your specific questions on cat care based on the most current information available in feline medicine. You can call this service at 1-800-KITTY-DR (800-548-8937) from 9 a.m. to noon, or 2-4 p.m. Eastern Time on Mondays and Fridays (excluding holidays). A $35 fee for the consultation helps the center defray the costs of this service.

Anti-Cruelty Free Behavior Hotline (www.anticruelty.org/behavior_hotline.html)
This free service is available to all pet owners who are experiencing behavior problems with their pets. Two excellent behavior specialists are available to answer questions and provide solutions on everything from separation anxiety to aggression. To contact their behavior specialists, call 312-644-8338.

The hotline is staffed by volunteer veterinary students. Call 607-253-3932 from 6-9: p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday-Thursday. Please feel free to leave a message if all staff is busy. All voice mail and e-mail will be answered. The staff cannot provide medical advice.
