Hi! We're Hooskie and Callie, and our mom adopted us at Harmony House in 1999. She took this photo of us so that everyone could see what gorgeous cats we had grown up to be. We were just kittens when we went home with mom.

Peanut

Hi!

I'm writing to tell you about my little Peanut. (I kept her name the same). I adopted her May 2006. Other than some dental issues that we're taking care of now, Peanut is a super happy and affectionate kitty. She's turning into a real lap cat and she's quite talkative! She's a sweetheart who is always right at the door waiting for me when I come home. I'm so glad I brought her into my life.

Murray

Hi there! I have re-named my few feline friend "Murray". He is adjusting well to my place and is a very lovable cat. Murray and I are excited to be together now. Thank you very much.

Banjo & Pearl

Hi, Harmony House,

Here are some pictures of our kitties! Jack, now known as Banjo, and Pearl-the-cat (Two-bits).

Love,
Sarah and Matt

Savion & Remy

My tale from home...

We've had Remy (formerly Seven) and Savion (formerly Puce) for a couple years now, and they are wonderful kitties. They're sweet and playful and a constant source of fun. Their world was shaken about six months ago when we took in a sick 2 week old motherless alley kitten. Remy and Savion are best friends, and we were not sure how they'd react to this tiny needy newcomer. After being nursed back to health and allowed to play with the big kitties, new kitten Henri was warmly accepted as one of theboys. Now all three guys run around together, and sleep in a pile together.

We love having them!

Tinsel

Hello!

Tinsel is doing well and enjoying her new home. She is also getting along well with Gamera, our other cat.

Tinsel's favorite places to sleep include our kitchen table, window sills, and behind our computer monitors. When she's not asleep, she likes to chase after toy mice while she slips and slides on our wood floor.

Kimono

Dear Friends at Harmony House,

My name is Kimono Buck and I wanted to say hello to all my friends at the HH. I just celebrated my “Special Day” on August 13th, which marked my 6th year at home with my mom! I am doing wonderful. I am such a little diva, I love to play with my mom’s hair ties and get into the closet to try on whatever I can get into!

My mom is so grateful to the Harmony House for bringing me into her life. We are best friends! She even did a walk the other year to support my other buddies who are waiting to be adopted.

Peace and Love,
Kimono G. Buck

Mike & Megan

Hello to you all at Harmony House!

It’s been over three years now, and I’m finally getting around to dropping you a line to say “Thank you!” for all the work that you do. Mike (the cat who loves saltines...if that rings a bell for you?) and his sister Megan are thriving with me and my husband. In fact, they’ve pretty much taken over the entire house—subjugating my husband’s geriatric cat, O (below, left)—a laid back boy that brings so much joy to us on a daily basis. As you can see from the photos, Mike (below, center) is fat and sassy and Megan (below, right) is filled with tortie-tude. Mike has always been a lap cat, and snuggling with him is a daily delight. Megan, who was extremely shy and skittish at first, has become "my" cat, my sweet girl. Being loved by all three of these characters makes our world a happy place.

Thank you!

Ted and Rose

P.S. We love our kitties so much; we rather expect the entire world to love them as well.
