Hi! I wanted to write to give you an update on Clarice and thank you for the wonderful work you do. I adopted Clarice from HH in the summer of 2003. When I adopted her she was already 8 years old, but she still loves to play and has moments when she acts more like a kitten than an almost senior citizen. Clarice is a really wonderful kitty and has become the queen of our house. Me and my boyfriend just love her to bits and she is a very spoiled, but healthy and well behaved kitty. Although Clarice was shy when we met her at HH and when we took her home (she spent several days under the bed), she has become a very loving, affectionate kitty, who loves, loves, loves to be with us. She follows us around and talks to us and as soon as we are seated, makes herself at home on our lap. She loves to sleep on top of me at night. She thinks I am her personal kitty bed. She is still scared when strangers come to visit (and still does not like to be picked up, to get her nails clipped or to go to the vet) but her anxieties dont prevent her from being just the sweetest kitty around. Thank you, HH, for a wonderful cat who has become the love of our lives. P.S. Clarice did not like the flash and shut her eyes, so you cant see her pretty green eyes, but you can see her cute little deformed ear. Clarice was one of about 40 cats rescued from a collectors home and she had had a bad ear mite infestation which caused the ear to collapse before HH got her. Her ears are doing fine now, and her funny ear makes her all the more lovable. Teri
To all of the wonderful people at Harmony House, I just want to thank you for all the wonderful care I received while at Harmony House. I was adopted in July of 2003 and I am doing wonderful! I am definitely the Queen of the houseeveryone absolutely adores me (and why wouldn't they?!) I relax all day in my fluffy bed or sometimes sprawl out on my cat tree. If you remember, I loved the cat trees at Harmony House also! Since I left Harmony House, my mom has gotten married (to the man that came with her to adopt me) and also started working for an animal welfare organization to save more of my friends. She has also brought home another boy cat and a girl dog! A dad, a brother and a sister in only 2 yearsI am so lucky! It's a good thing my dad realizes how wonderful I amotherwise, it would be bad news. Attached is a picture of me and my brotherwe're best friends! Thank you for all the great work you doyou saved my life! You are wonderful! Love, Nermal P.S. I was adopted as Diet Rite, but my mom changed that real quick. My brothers name is Red.
Hi! Here is a long-overdue photo of my sweet girl, Cassie (HH's Heinbuch). I adopted her at the 1997 Valentine's Open House. She was 18 months old at the time. She has been my only cat since I adopted her, because she was quite the shy kitty while a Harmony House resident. Some of the things she likes most are: being petted, playing with Kitty Tease, looking out the window, and eating cat grass. When I return home after being away, Cassie greets me at the door with sweet meows and expects that I will give her some petting before doing anything else! I would like to especially thank Roni Nakulski for introducing me to Harmony House, and also the family that cared for my cat before she became a Harmony House resident. I hope Cassie and I will have many more happy years together. Regards,
Dear Harmony House, I just wanted to let you know that Carrie and I are getting along great! It's been a little over a year and she is happy and loving. She finally has a house, and a human that will love and keep her. Her bad habit of biting...gone! I just wanted to let you know how well she is doing. Megan
Hi, Harmony House! Thank you so much for my 3 babies who I love so much. As you can see, these little dolls love each other as much as I love them. Hunan, my black cat, is now back to his earlier name, Buddy (right). He seemed to respond to it. He is also "Kobe the Beautiful," courtesy of my nephew. Anwhei, my sweet short-haired tabby, reverted to her old name with a last name added, Ethel Buttercup (top left). She's a bit frumpy and very bodaciously BOOTYFUL, so it fit. Piper (bottom left), my long-haired itty-bitty-sized tabby, remains Piper, as she runs around piping at night making the sweetest little sounds. She is also known as "Baby Bootylicous"! They are all very frisky, friendly and adorable. Ethel and Buddy, who lived together before their 2-week stint at Harmony House, adopted Baby Piper who lived there for 2 years, I believe, and treat her like their little princess. Piper is now getting very brave with me. Initially she was a bit shy, but sweet and darling always. Buddy is the friendly meeter and greeter, and Ethel is the lap cat of the year. Buddy likes a lap every night, too, but only when he is ready to tuck me into bed, or if a new person shows up for a visit. I highly recommend that everyone consider adopting some angels like I did. I know they will never regret taking home all that love. I know I never did. Wanda

Hello! We thought we should send you an e-mail to tell Harmony House how much we love Princess (Gillyweed). She is so wonderful and she is so pretty. We love her so much. Princess is such a loving cat. Princess has been a blessing to us. We love having her in our lives. Princess has been a wonderful addition to our family. Princess is a playful cat and she always wants attention from everyone. Princess is shy also at first when she meets people. Love,
Dear Harmony House, I've attached a picture of Jenny Rose (formerly Julianna), adopted in January 2001. She's now nine. Jenny's very happy, playful and affectionate. She's also quite chatty, always happy to greet her "mom" at the door. Thank you for rescuing Jenny and bringing her into my life. She's a great friend that's truly loved. Best,
